Keynote Speaker: Local writing legend, Jodi Thomas, will discuss the book business in our changing times. Jodi is a New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of over 50 novels and countless short story collections. Her stories travel through the past and present days of Texas and draw readers from around the world.

Festival Panels: We have crafted 7 intriguing panels for you to attend on Saturday and 3 panels on Sunday with various topics geared toward book lovers. The panels will be held in the Mahon Community Room at the back of the building.

Local Author Tables: Around the library, you will find over 40 local authors who are eager to meet you and show off their book babies.

Writing Workshops: We are also providing writing workshops for anyone interested in learning the craft of writing and book marketing. You will find the workshops near the children’s area.

Cookbook Nook: Angelina LaRue will host a nook filled with cooking demonstrations and cookbooks for sale. Saturday at 1:15 – 2:00 upstairs in the Tomorrow Lab.

Entertainment on the Lawn: Check out a blanket and relax on the lawn and enjoy some food truck fare while we entertain you and the kids. We have some incredible talent performing on the back lawn. Don't miss Cary C. Banks from the Maine Brothers Band and Cathy Jewell and their musical performances. We will also have SJ Dahlstrom and his horse Fancy where you can sit a spell and hear SJ read from his Wilder Good Series and learn about his horse.
